Our Story

I believe everybody deserves a moment of breathtaking beauty. To be the main character.

I dreamed of wearing the kind of gown that feels like poetry. Layers of soft organza floating like mist around me and skirts that catch the light. I wanted to step into a room and feel luminous and, well, like the main character. 😊

But I didn’t want that beauty to come with a lifetime of storage.

I didn’t want to ‘babysit’ a gown forever. I didn’t want to force it into storage after only one magical evening. The guilt was all consuming. Every time I opened my cupboard, I would sigh at its beauty and then… close the door.

So, I imagined something softer. Kinder. More sustainable.

A place where plus-size gowns don’t wait in the shadows. Where they are celebrated, chosen and adored. A place where a gown can go on an adventure, a candlelit dinner, a dance, a ball or a proposal and then return home to rest, ready for the next romantic instalment.

Fashion should not be disposable. And it should not be hidden away.

Hiring gowns is gentler on the earth. It allows us to share beauty instead of endlessly producing more. It gives each piece a longer, richer life.

And most importantly, it allows women in plus-size bodies to access dream gowns without compromise. Without settling.
